Dining in Florida

The Coral Cay resort in Florida is ideally situated for not only the attractions like Disney but also for restaurants and supermarkets. Wal-Mart is just a mile down the road. Great for picking up a few bits for breakfast on the days you want a lazy morning.

Your Florida holiday home in rental is just five minutes from a selection of restaurants which have something to please everyone at any time of day or night.Denny's is a brilliant place to have breakfast. Their breakfast choice is out of this world. When we are staying in out holiday rental home in Florida Denny's is where we go for our first 'America breakfast', just three miles from our holiday villa Orlando Florida (check out the attractions button on the home page, and then dining for the map) It's on the way to Disney so when you are hitting the parks that day you can fill up on the way.

As time has gone on and our visits to Coral Cay resort in Florida have become more frequent we have developed a selection of restaurants we just have to go to and another one of these restaurants is IHOP - International House Of Pancakes. Again this is just 3.4 miles from your Orlando holiday home rental (check out the attractions button on the home page, and then dining for the map) Their butter milk pancakes are brilliant, you can have them topped with nuts, chocolate chips or fruit of your choice and rounded off with whipped cream and sauce.
Savoury lovers are not left out, steak, bacon. sausages and eggs. French toast, waffles and international crepes are but a few items on their menu and are all available 24 hours a day.

SmokeyBones BBQ restaurant is a great place for dinner, the kids will love this and the adults alike I bet. Each table has its own television and there are six channels to choose from.
There are various flat screens also in view so you can also watch these as well. You should try the pulled pork, it's a favourite of ours.

Lonestar is our all time favourite steakhouse, it is just a 10 minute drive to Lonestar from your Coral Cay rental.
This is the place we always start our holiday with. Once we have dropped our bags off at Coral Cay we head over to Lonestar for a beer, a great steak and topped off with some Key Lime Pie.

If there are any meat lovers out there then you definitely need to check out Texas De Brazil. Located on International Drive, about a twenty minute drive from out holiday villa in Florida, here you pay one price and you could eat all night. You are seated at your table, the restaurant set up is explained and then your just.....eat. This is a Brazilian Steakhouse where carvers come to your table, all in traditional dress and if your card is green every servery will stop at your table, when the card is red, they pass by.
Any vegetarians out there will not be disappointed either, with usually over 50 items on the salad and side bars, they are spoilt for choice also.
It is advised to book in advance as this restaurant is very popular.

There is so much choice within a twenty minute drive from our Coral Cay rental, I have just mentioned some of the places we enjoy going but there is so much choice you will never run out of restaurants to try in Florida.
